"I know there is nothing better than to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime; moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor - it is the gift of God." ~Qoheleth

This post reminds me of my BSF lesson this week. We were looking at the Thessalonian Epistles which are largely concerned with the second coming of Christ. The study notes encouraged me to take a serious look at my daily priorities, personal goals and ambitions in light of Christ's return.
Sometimes thinking about Christ's return kinda freaks me out and makes me feel panicky. Like I'm not doing enough or something. But looking at 1 Thess. Paul is simply encouraging the Christians there to live quiet lives, working hard, sharing with others and encouraging each other, being motivated by faith, hope, and love.
I am so proud of you, Katie. Thank you for sharing. And - Hurray! You're almost done!
