I want to know why so many of us are still afraid of and/or in disdain of feminists. Why are our adjectives so negative? “Angry feminists” or “militant feminists,” neither have good connotations, and those are just two that come immediately to mind.
If these feminists are angry, perhaps it is for a good reason? Have you read their works? Almost every feminist book I have read starts with a personal story (or two) of hurt, betrayal, abuse, etc. by men in their lives: husbands, fathers, spiritual leaders and so on. These stories are often heart-wrenching.
Yet when we look at feminists (i.e. women who are brave and strong enough to stand up, tell their story, and insist that the wrongs are righted), we judge them, we malign them, we have no sympathy or empathy for the real hurts they have experienced. We insist that in the US things are pretty damn good for women: women can vote, they can wear pants, they can get jobs, they can stay single. So obviously, equality has arrived, feminism is passé.
But… what about the wage gap? What about the many jobs that are denied to women, either overtly or covertly? What about the societal pressure for women to be married, the stigma that comes along with a single woman that rarely is given to a single man? What about all the ways, big and small, that women are still regarded as property or objects to be bought and sold? What about rape culture? What about the fact that so many men only see women as walking vaginas?
We’re not equal. Justice has yet to occur. Feminism is still needed, but not just by women. We need men to stand alongside us, to affirm our equality, to not be threatened by women. If men lose the place they’ve held so long in society, the understanding should be that their place was ill-got and unjustly held. There was never supposed to be a hierarchy. But in every way possible, society upholds the false dichotomy between women and men.
Come on, folks. Let’s get over ourselves.

Today’s state: society is weak. Too many feminized males out there and too many man-jawed feminists. The result? Chaos. You need to search Google for “Heartiste” and click the first link that comes up. The writer(s) from that blog combat every iota of feminist BS that comes out.
Do you know why testosterone-fueled men see women as ‘objects’? It’s in their biology. Sexuality dictates it. They are biologically coerced to spread the seed, naturally looking at women as attractive (or attractive women as potential sex partners). That is NOT a bad thing, contrary to what the ignorant media has led people like you to believe.
Again, head on over to Google and search “Heartiste”. I’m not trolling or insulting you. It’s a site based on WordPress.
Rape is bad. Abuse is bad. Human beings being mean to each other is bad.
A man should not worship a woman, nor should he view her as a ‘slut’ or ‘whore’. There should be a fine line there. Women are women. Men are men. Women are the same as men, just with a couple of, uh, different parts and with a different hormonal makeup.
The problem is people are angered by opinions nowadays. For whatever reason, if somebody believes in general roles, they are bashed. Why? Because people seem to be bigger bigots than EVER! Liberals, gays, lesbians, etc. seem to be more bigoted than ever. You see one guy or gal say they don’t believe in gay marriage and a mere opinion, and they are bashed. You hear someone say that they don’t think veganism is health, and BAM! Bashed!
But I digress. That’s an irrelevant tangent. Excuse me. I don’t hold a belief of either of the stances above (although I do believe that vegans are naturally deficient in B vitamins, collagen, proteins, zinc and a horde of amino acids and other nutrients/minerals).
There’s a reason why men’s rights activists being more and more prevalent today. With guys being made out to be idiots in the media, there’s been a revolt. A host of women have raged over the Dr. Pepper ‘Ten’ commercials in which the slogan is “It’s not for women!” Plenty of females have whined, groaned and moaned about it, in which Dr. Pepper relented and had a female boxer do a commercial just to quell their whiny attitudes. A sad state.
I love feminine women.
Feminists? Not so much. Most of them have an agenda and spew man-hating jargon that turns me off. As a man, I didn’t do ANYTHING to deserve being treated like crap, but nonetheless some of these manjaw-rockin’ feminists with their broad shoulders love spewing garbage.
There used to be a phenomenal blog written on here (WordPress) by a beautiful young woman by the name of Salem Dockery. She was extremely intelligent and despised feminism. I miss her blog. The name of her said blog was “Selah Aram”, her pseudonym so to speak. The world needs more intelligent feminine women to speak up on the idiocy of modern feminism or else society will continue to crumble.
Please check out Heartiste, look up In Mala Fide and check out other men’s rights activitists groups and sites around the web. It will answer the question you are bloviating.
Have a nice night.

When I wrote ‘general roles’, I mean gender roles. Excuse me. I type fast and deject proofreading (laziness; that’s why I’ll never be a professional writer!).
One more thing about jobs and wages: what about women that prance around in mini-skirts and are banging their bosses to get to the top? A dime a dozen and happens more often than not. What about women who are insanely attractive that get jobs over men that are more qualified?
Again, search the blogs that I told you about. They will answer all the questions you’ve asked. :)
